Applications of Photoinitiator EDB

Ethyl 4-(dimethylamino) benzoate (EDB, CAS 10287-53-3) is a highly effective amine synergist. It is commonly used with free radical photoinitiator. Dialkyl aminobenzoic acid ester is an efficient amine accelerator. It is commonly used with free radical photoinitiator. It is mainly used for ultraviolet curing of varnish coatings on paper, wood, metal and plastic surfaces. It can also be used for ultraviolet radiation polymerization of single or multiple monomers.

Therefore, it is a sensitizer with excellent performance, which can promote photoinitiation and effectively eliminate the interference of oxygen on photoinitiation polymerization when used together with photo initiators such as ITX, BP.

Common products include Ethyl 4-(dimethylamino) benzoate (EDB, CAS 10287-53-3), 2-Ethylhexyl 4-dimethylaminobenzoate (EHA, CAS 21245-02-3) and Isoamyl 4-(Dimethylamino) benzoate (DMBI, CAS 21245-01-2).
