Introduction of Acylphosphine Oxide Photoinitiator

Acylphosphine oxide photoinitiator is a kind of norrish(I)photoinitiator, this photoinitiator can be widely used in coatings, inks, adhesives, corrosion resistors, solder inhibitors and other industries due to its excellent properties. Acylphosphine oxide compounds have the advantages of high initiation efficiency, fast curing speed and low yellowing, and are often used in combination with secondary amines and tertiary amines.

The intruduction of main Acylphosphine Oxide Photoinitiators is as follows.

 Photoinitiator TPO

  • Chemical Name: Diphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide
  • CAS No.: 75980-60-8
  • Appearance: Yellowish powder
  • Absorption Peaks: 295, 368, 380, 400 nm

Applications of photoinitiator TPO

  1. TPO is especially suitable for curing colored systems and thick film layers.
  2. TPO is suitable for screen printing ink, Offset printing ink, flexo printing ink and wood coating because of its excellent absorption performance.
  3. It is used in adhesive products together with photoinitiator 184.
  4. The recommended dosage is 0.5-4% w/w.

 Photoinitiator TPO-L

  • Chemical Name: Ethyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) phenylphosphinate
